That was the theme of the day. I have to start working harder so that I can get a better bonus at work. This means that I must be a little more aggressive on the phones, which has never really been my weapon of choice. This was the choice that I made this morning as I'm grumbling my way through the morning traffic. Good choice because I did have an awesome day today-I am excited to see my stats when they come out tomorrow.
Other good news? I got my schedule change, which takes effect next Sunday. Of course, the vampire shift has its own obstacles and doesn't offer up sales on a silver platter like half the ones I get during the day. This is good, though...it forces me to push myself even harder. And that's something that I need right now. I'm off on Mondays and Tuesdays, so I have time to skate; now I just have to contact the gym about getting my membership re-instated. I wonder if they're going to give me a break since I was a member for two or three years prior.
Well, I'm going to bed early because I'm damn tired. One last thought, though...okay, so I watched Fight Club and I just don't get it. I mean, I get that Brad Pitt's character was a figment of the dude's imagination-but the whole thing is just stupid. But, to end on a positive note-I did finally get to see The Devil Wears Prada. I loved this movie and I wanna be like Meryl Streep's character when I grow up. I would also like to add that the main chick's friends were a bunch of assholes and that boyfriend was such a douche for not supporting her. Ugh.

I love reading your blogs!!! Makes me smile to know that there are normal people out there! Hope everything gets situated with your job shift and your agressiveness! Miss ya, sis!
Oh yeah, and Brodie opened her Strawberry Shortcake doll already... which led me to hide all the gifts that were under the tree! Give me two days, and I'll be able to re-wrap it and she'll be as surprised! :-) Guess that's what I get for wrapping her gifts in Princess Christmas paper.. she's too smart!
