The big chicken

So, I don't get to take Leyla out for a walk as often as I should. I took her out this evening and she did quite well until a girl (across the street from where we were) pulled a hose and and tossed it in the yard. Leyla was a bit uneasy, but when she turned on the sprinklers, Leyla freaked out and then decided that she needed to be carried the rest of the way home. A little weight update? Leyla's up to 30 pounds...she's only 4 & 1/2 months old, which means that she's still got a long way to go.

What else? Well, working on the re-write for Two Birds at the moment. I'm doing something a little different with it. I'm also going to be doing some work on a new book, Sister Savannah, then I'll be getting back to Pretty Penny. Second Skin has been shelved again...at least for the time being.
