So, it's been on my mind for a while...I finally decided it was time for another dog. No dog can ever replace my Lucy (literally, she was one in a million), but I just love having that companionship and cats just don't give you that. So, I started online looking through the classifieds..but, I don't really have $500 to shell out for a puppy (besides, I don't like to pay for companionship). Then, it was off to the pound...I started at the Austin Humane Society (no dice), then onto the Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter (where I got Lucky two years ago, but no puppy), a brief stop at the Georgetown Animal Shelter (nope) and then onto the Williamson County Humane Society. That's where I found my cute little Leyla...she's a boxer mix, and isn't she damn cute?
