Good things are coming...

So, I'm getting stuff done and I feel good about it. I'm just re-doing some stuff on the second issue of Derby Gal, so I can get it out to the printer next week. No, that's not a typo...I did say next week. I'm confident that we're off to a great start here with the re-launch...not like our maiden voyage that was lost at sea. I have a much better plan this time around.

On another note, we did have our big benefit on Thursday night...it was kind of a bust. Though, I will say, there's no place I would've rather been. Aside from this icky drunk that tried to hug me when I walked into the place, it was not a bad night. I got to see some great bands and have found some new favorites in Rage Against the Doo, Stacy Steger, the Little Bicycles and Muchos Backflips. Good music is definitely worth the bust in my book.

Speaking of books...I am going to be launching a new site soon. I took down my old site a while ago, but I'm putting up a new one (because I just don't get enough attention, right??). This means that I've gotta design it and take some pictures and stuff. Yippee...nobody loves photo shoots more than me. Oh, wait...I forget that sarcasm is hard to read.

Lastly...oh, I'm excited because derby is back. I took the night off tomorrow to see the Holy Rollers take on the All Scar Army.

By the way...am I the only person that loves American Dreamz? I watch it every time it comes on. And, actually, I enjoy a lot of Mandy Moore's movies...Saved! is by far the best, though.
